Certified birth records are $10.00 each.

Certified death records are $12.00 each.

You can also get a “genealogy page” for a cost of $10.00. This is a certified page listing all the information found on the birth or death record. Please enclose a SASE (self addressed, stamped envelope).

The department only accepts money order, cashier’s check or cash as payment.

The state did not keep records of deaths until 1900 and for births starting in 1907. So you must obtain copies of records through the county office for dates prior to these. The county started keeping records in 1882.
